Growing up, my mom would make delicious meals we ate as a family every night. I married a wonderful cook from a family of wonderful cooks. Somehow, that passion for cooking never made it over to me. They say that weight loss starts in the kitchen, so for years I yo-yo-ed with my weight, with no real lasting solution.
Finally, when I became the primary cook last Winter, something clicked. No, I did not just start loving the shopping, the cooking and the cleaning. But I did enjoy playing with recipes to make them low carb. And our everyday meals became healthier, making us healthier too.
